(Dan Tri) – President Donald Trump spoke out after Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden criticized the White House boss at the party’s national convention.

“For 47 years, Joe didn’t do what he said.

President Trump accused former Vice President Biden of making false promises, while Mr. Trump’s campaign criticized the Democratic presidential candidate as a `pawn of the radical left.`

President Trump’s comments came after former Vice President Joe Biden gave a speech accepting his nomination as the Democratic presidential candidate in the US election later this year.

Although he did not mention Mr. Trump’s name, Mr. Biden still criticized the current US president in his most awaited speech since he began his campaign for the White House.

Mr. Biden criticized his Republican opponent for `covering America in darkness for too long`, with too much `anger, fear, division`.

“What we know about the (current) president is that if he is given four more years, he will still be the same as the last four years.

According to Mr. Biden, President Trump `failed` to fulfill his `most basic obligations to the country` when he was unable to protect America.

“As president, I promise I will protect America.

Speaking to voters on August 20 in the `battleground` state of Pennsylvania, President Trump criticized Mr. Biden for spending half a century in Washington to `sell out` America, and let other countries steal people’s jobs.

“If you want a vision of your life under a Biden presidency, think of the smoldering ruins in Minneapolis, the violent anarchy in Portland, the blood-stained sidewalks of Chicago and imagine the

US Vice President Mike Pence today also initiated a Republican counterattack against the Democratic presidential candidate’s speech criticizing President Trump.

`The Democrats are presenting America with a vision of destroying our economy and promoting policies that lead to increased violence in the streets,` Mr. Pence told Fox News today.

According to Mr. Pence, Joe Biden’s long political career, as a senator and two terms as vice president under President Barack Obama, will work against this politician.

`Joe Biden has been in Washington for 47 years. His speech last night was exactly like the talks we’ve heard from him and other liberal Democratic politicians for decades,` he said.

Standing behind Mr. Biden in many national polls, President Trump is facing pressure to convince Americans to vote for him in the context of a double-digit unemployment rate and a recession.
