The reason why Quoc Duy was removed from the registration list for the 2023 Asian Challenger Cup men’s volleyball tournament has been revealed. The Vietnamese team will compete with 13 members.

Through research, Quoc Duy brought sausages – one of the prohibited items on the entry list to Chinese Taipei related to meat.
Chinese Taipei customs also gave Quoc Duy the second option of paying a fine, a figure of up to 6,000 USD (about 142 million VND).

Maybe, Quoc Duy forgot the sausages in his checked baggage because when he entered the country, Duy left the sausages in his hand luggage and was accepted by security to enter the immigration waiting area.
The Vietnamese men’s volleyball team encountered difficulties in their opening match because their opponent, Australia – ranked 37th in the world – had great height and held very well while continuously neutralizing Vietnam’s attacks.
